Did you know that thousands of companies match donations by employees to our organization?

Please request from your company to access the forms, guidelines, and instructions that you need to submit a matching gift. We have a few companies and their information here:

  • Linkedin matches donations and volunteer hours up to $15,000 (the joint limit for both programs) per employee per year.

    LinkedIn matches donations made by employees to a wide range of nonprofits including:

    • Educational institutions (K-12 included)

    • Health and human services

    • Arts and cultural organizations

    • Civic and community organizations

    • Environmental organizations

    • And many other nonprofits

    LinkedIn's Matching Gift Submission Process:
    Employees can go to https://linkedingives.benevity.org/user/login to submit their match requests. In order to access the submission pages, employees need to log in or be connected to the company intranet. Please check the guidelines for what documentation is needed to ensure that your donation can be matched correctly. 

    Deadline:
    LinkedIn will match donations made at any point in the last six months.

  • Google matches donations made by current employees and board members to most nonprofits including:

    • Educational institutions (K-12 included)

    • Health and human services

    • Arts and cultural organizations

    • Civic and community organizations

    Google offers multiple matching gift programs:

    1. Matching of general personal donations to nonprofits
      Up to $10K annually per employee

    2. Matching of disaster relief / international relief
      Up to $10K annually per employee

    Matching of Fundraising Efforts:
    Google matches funds employees personally raise for a charitable event which they actively participate in (ex. walks, marathons, bike rides, etc.). 

    Google's Matching Gift Submission Process:
    Employees should search the company intranet for matching gifts while connected to the company intranet to locate the most up to date electronic submission link. Alternatively, Employees should submit their requests electronically at https://google.benevity.org/user/login.

    Deadline:
    Matching gift requests must be submitted by January 31st of the year following the date of the donation.

  • Nvidia matches donations from employees to nonprofits through three different employee giving programs:

    Individual Matching Gift Program - All full-time, part-time, and interns receive up to $10,000 in matching funds for their financial and time donations to recognized nonprofit organizations.

    A wide range of nonprofits is eligible for all programs including:

    • Private and public elementary and secondary school

    • Health and human services

    • Arts and cultural organizations

    • Civic and community organizations

    • Environmental organizations

    • Animal welfare organizations

    • And most other 501(c)(3) organizations

    Nvidia's Matching Gift Submission Process:
    While connected to Nvidia's corporate intranet, employees should submit their matching gift requests electronically at https://nvidia.benevity.org/user/login.

    Submission Deadline:
    Employees should submit their match requests for external financial donations within the calendar year that the donation occurred.

    The company typically matches donations at a dollar-for-dollar ratio, though in the past, Adobe has occasionally upped the ratio to 2:1 during certain time periods including Giving Tuesday.

    Submission Deadline:
    Employees are requested to submit match requests in a timely manner since there is a company-wide annual limit that could be reached. 

    Upon submission, the nonprofit will be notified and asked to verify and claim the donation.

  • Verizon matches donations from employees to most nonprofits including:

    • And nearly all other 501(c)(3) nonprofits (US) or organizations recognized as nonprofits by the an IRS equivalent organization (internationally)

    Retirees are eligible for a match of up to $5,000 to accredited colleges & universities only.

    Verizon offers two types of matching grants:

    1. Individual Matching Grants
      Verizon matches individual employee donations up to $5,000 to higher education or $1,000 to nearly any other nonprofit. An Eligible Employee may aggregate the two limitations above to match a total of $6,000 in charitable contributions to an Eligible Higher Education Organization. 

    2. Team Champions program
      When teams of 10 or more Verizon employees collectively raise funds for a nonprofit or school, Verizon will match the funds raised up to $10,000 per team and event.

    Submission Process:
    Employees/donors should register their matching gift requests electronically by logging in at https://www.cybergrants.com/pls/cybergrants/eg_login.login?x_gm_id=1240 to access the matching donation form. Retirees can log their donations and submit match requests here.

    Submission Deadline: 
    Employees have until the end of January in the year following when the donation was made to submit a matching gift request.

  • Cisco matches employee donations up to $25,000 to most nonprofit organizations including:

    • And many other 501(c)(3) organizations and international 501(c)(3) equivalent organizations

    Cisco Education Match Program
    Cisco offers a matching gift program specific to education institutions. Educational organizations are eligible for a match ratio of .25:1, meaning donations are matched at a rate of 25% of the original donation. 

    Membership Matching:
    An employee may not accept any item of more than the nominal value when making a donation or requesting a match, even if the employee is eligible to receive a complimentary item. Examples of items of nominal value include t-shirts or key chains. Examples of items of more than nominal value include, but are not limited to gift cards, electronic equipment, sponsorship, dinners, golf games, coaches or trainers for athletic events, auction items, prizes, and clothing other than event promotional t-shirts.
